Lac Ste Anne Pilgrimage July 20-25, 2024
Annual Pilgrimage to Lac Ste Anne
For several days each July, thousands of Native Catholics from many tribes
gather on the shores of Lac Ste. Anne. They come to visit old friends, to seek healing,
and to be renewed in their faith.
This pilgrimage, which began more than a hundred years ago, has become the largest
annual gathering of the First Nations people in Canada. The event usually consists of a pipe ceremony, candlelit procession, daily mass, and the recitation of the rosary. Each year, a sacred blessing is made upon the tranquil waters of Lac Ste. Anne. All are welcome to this holy pilgrimage and to immerse themselves in the healing waters of Lac Ste. Anne.
We will be located to the south of the main entrance.
